Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Pixel Shift Toolkit is a browser-based file conversion toolkit designed to avoid uploading user files to a server. This policy explains what information may be processed while using the site, how file handling is designed, and what may change when advertising services are introduced.

1. File processing principle

Images, GIFs, and videos selected by the user are not sent to a Pixel Shift Toolkit server. Current conversion tools use browser APIs such as Canvas and Video, WebAssembly, and JavaScript encoders or decoders to process files on the user's device.

  • Selected source files are not stored on a server.
  • Converted result files are not stored on a server.
  • Previews and downloads use temporary browser object URLs.
  • When the page is closed or refreshed, temporary working data in browser memory is cleared.

2. Background removal and model files

The background remover runs the MediaPipe Image Segmenter model in the browser. User images are not uploaded to a server, but the browser may download model files and WebAssembly runtime files from Google or a CDN on first use. This is a download of program resources required to run the feature, not an upload of the user's image.

3. Personal information collection

Pixel Shift Toolkit does not currently provide sign-up, login, comment, payment, or contact-form features that directly ask users to enter personal information. We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, or payment details.

4. Automatically processed technical data

Cloudflare Pages, browsers, security systems, and future analytics tools may process technical data such as IP address, request time, browser type, and requested URL for reliability and security. This data is used for site operation, error analysis, and abuse prevention.

4-1. Usage analytics events

If Cloudflare Zaraz or a similar analytics tool is enabled, the site may send limited events such as tool started, tool completed, download clicked, or tool error. These events are intended to understand which browser-only tools are useful. File names, file contents, image pixels, and converted output data are not included in these analytics events.

5. Cookies and advertising

The site does not currently use first-party login cookies. If advertising services such as Google AdSense are added later, cookies or similar technologies may be used for ad delivery and fraud prevention. Relevant notices and settings guidance will be reflected in this policy when ads are introduced.

6. Third-party sharing

Pixel Shift Toolkit does not provide selected user files to third parties. We do not sell or share personal information except where required by law or necessary for security.

7. Changes to this policy

If file handling, advertising, analytics, or other data practices change, this page will be updated. Last updated: June 15, 2026.
